Paintings, drawings and prints from the Jack Family Collection
Kenneth Jack: An Artist at Home and Abroad places trademark interpretations of the stark beauty and moods of outback Australia next to highly charged, atmospheric works from Europe and the USA, that suggests this artist never really stopped creating, not even on a family outing or a trip to Italy!
Many works are being exhibited for the first time and some have not been seen for many years, notably several early rural paintings from the 1950s in Australia and a number of drawings and some masterly watercolours exhibited with the Royal Watercolour Society, London from 1977 - 2006.

A selection of works will be on show at the PORTLAND ARTS CENTRE from the 29th of June to the 24th of July. The opening will be on the 30th June at 5.30pm The exhibition is drawn from the Jack Family Collection of paintings and sketchbooks Kenneth created whilst on holidays in Portland in 1946, 1948, and 1949. As well there are other key works from more recent times largely of Western Victoria.The artworks will include drawings,watercolours, paintings (oil) and graphics.
