Exhibition of over 50 original artworks by Kenneth Jack AM, MBE, RWS (1924 – 2006) all signed by the artist. These works are in pristine condition and directly from the artist’s studio and date back to 1952. Includes oils, watercolours, pastels, lithographs, mezzotints, linocuts, etchings and a unique perspex engraving. Both framed and unframed works are available for purchase.
Like many artists of his generation, Jack was deeply affected by the rugged beauty and harsh conditions of the Australian landscape. He found in travelling to every corner of Australia the landscape to be “awe inspiring” and was able to “express the powerful elements that impacted him, the space, the depth, earthiness, structure, colour and rhythms of the land.”
Gallery Hours Mondays – Fridays: 9 am – 5.00 pm. Saturdays: 10 am – 2 pm. Closed Sundays.
