Kenneth Jack (1924—2006) captured the quintessential Australia through his paintings, drawings and prints.
Jack was renowned for intricate images of Australian cities, outback towns and vast panoramic views. Yet another side to Jack is reflected in the works that he kept in his private collection, which reveal the intellectual and artistic challenges that he faced.
Assembled by the artist’s son David, The Kenneth Jack View presents a range of works from the artist’s own collection, many of which are previously unseen, together with key works from the Gallery’s collection.
